Privacy Policy

Last updated: 10 April 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Shanghai Woahology Co., Ltd. (“Woahology,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use Pandafun websites, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read this Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Services.

1. Who is responsible

Woahology is typically the controller of personal information collected through Pandafun for its own operational purposes. In some cases (for example, payment processing by a bank or card network), partners act as independent controllers or processors according to their own policies and agreements. Hosts or experience providers may receive limited information necessary to deliver a booking; they should use it only for that purpose unless you agree otherwise.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use Pandafun, we may collect:

  • Account and profile data: name, email, phone number, password or authentication tokens, profile photo, and preferences.
  • Booking and transaction data: experiences selected, dates, party size, payment and billing details (often processed by payment partners), cancellation history, and communications related to bookings.
  • Location and device data: approximate location (e.g. from IP or device settings), device identifiers, operating system, app version, and crash or performance diagnostics.
  • Content you provide: reviews, messages with Hosts or support, photos, or other submissions.
  • Technical and usage data: log data, cookies or similar technologies, pages viewed, and interactions with features or marketing communications (where permitted).

Where the law requires, we will ask for your consent before collecting sensitive categories of personal information or using data for certain optional purposes.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Services (including search, booking, customer support, and fraud prevention);
  • Process payments and send booking confirmations, updates, and service messages;
  • Personalize recommendations and content where you have not opted out where opt-out is required;
  • Comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms, and protect rights, property, and safety;
  • Analyze usage in aggregate or de-identified form to understand performance and plan features;
  • Send marketing communications where allowed by law, and allow you to opt out of promotional emails or push notifications as described in-app or in message footers.

4. Legal bases (where applicable)

If you are in a jurisdiction that requires a “legal basis,” we rely on one or more of the following as appropriate: performance of a contract (for example, to complete a booking), legitimate interests (for example, securing our Services and improving features, balanced against your rights), compliance with legal obligations, or consent when we ask for it explicitly.

5. Sharing of information

We may share personal information with:

  • Hosts and partners to fulfill bookings (for example, name, contact details, party size, special requests);
  • Service providers that process data on our behalf (hosting, analytics, communications, payment processing, customer support tools), under contracts that require protection and limited use;
  • Affiliates within our corporate group for internal operations consistent with this Policy;
  • Authorities when required by law, legal process, or to protect vital interests;
  • Business transfers such as a merger, financing, or acquisition, subject to safeguards required by law.

We do not sell your personal information for monetary consideration in the traditional sense. Where regional law defines “sale” or “sharing” broadly (including for targeted advertising), we provide opt-out choices as required and describe them in the app settings or on our website.

6. International transfers

Woahology is based in China. If you access Pandafun from other countries, your information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in China or other countries where we or our providers operate. We implement appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law (for example, contractual clauses or consent) when transferring personal information across borders.

7. Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, meet legal, tax, or accounting requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods may differ by data type; for example, transaction records may be kept longer than transient log data. When no longer needed, we delete or de-identify information in line with internal policies unless preservation is required by law.

8. Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. No method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure; we encourage you to use strong passwords and protect your device access.

9. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or export your personal information, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent where processing was consent-based. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

To exercise rights, adjust settings in the Pandafun app where available, or contact us using the channels we publish for privacy requests. We may need to verify your identity before responding. If we deny a request, we will explain why where required by law.

10. Cookies and similar technologies

We and partners may use cookies, SDKs, pixels, and local storage to remember preferences, authenticate sessions, measure traffic, and (where permitted) support relevant marketing. You can control cookies through browser settings; blocking certain cookies may affect functionality. In the app, you may control permissions such as notifications or tracking as allowed by the platform.

11. Children

Pandafun is not directed at children below the age at which consent may legally be provided for online services in your region (commonly under 13 or under 14–16 depending on jurisdiction). If we learn that we collected personal information from a child without proper consent, we will take steps to delete it. Parents or guardians may contact us if they believe a child has provided information improperly.

12. Automated decisions

We may use automated systems (including fraud scoring or recommendation models) to support the Services. Where the law requires, we will provide meaningful information about logic involved and your rights related to solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.

13. Third-party services

Pandafun may link to third-party sites or services (maps, social login, payment wallets). Their collection and use of information is governed by their own privacy policies. Please review those policies before engaging with third-party features.

14. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version and change the “Last updated” date. For material changes, and where required, we will notify you by email, in-app notice, or other appropriate means and obtain consent where necessary.

15. Contact

For privacy questions or requests concerning Pandafun, contact Shanghai Woahology Co., Ltd. using the dedicated privacy inbox, support channels, and registered mailing address shown in the Pandafun mobile application and on the official Pandafun website.
